Luxury spas and hot tubs
After a long hard day at work there can be few things as relaxing as laying back in a hot tub in the comfort of your own home and feeling all the aches and pains from the stresses of your day disappear. You may have felt unable to justify buying such a piece of equipment for your house in the past but if you take a look at what we have to offer you will see that the online trading model allows retailers like ourselves to pass on our savings to customers in the form of lower prices and better after sales service options. A home spa is now an affordable item that you will soon wonder how you managed without, rather than an unnecessary luxury that is out of most people’s price range. If you do not have the room in your house then you can always site your spa outside – hot tub gazebos are available to keep out the sometimes inclement weather that we experience in the UK. There are many different models of hot tub or spa to choose from, with lots of different sizes and layouts designed to suit a variety of needs. If you need any help in selecting the right one for you then our staff are available to advise you, either by telephone during business hours or email if you prefer. Even though we are happy that we offer excellent value for money, we understand that it is still a fairly major purchase.
Fun for all the family
As well as being the ideal place in which to soothe your frayed nerves at the end of the day, spas are also of course a fun place for your children to relax in, and water is a natural environment for young ones to play in, providing them with hours of entertainment. As long as you put a bit of effort into your hot tub care then it will reward you with years of hassle free use. We offer a full range of equipment that is designed to help you keep your spa in top condition and are happy to advise you on this matter as well. We have some items to amuse your children too – why not order some fun rubber ducks, or for something that is useful for you and the little ones, we have novelty thermometers that you can use to check the temperature of the water with and that are attractive to young eyes as well. Older children, especially girls, will love our range of spa fragrances and crystals which, when added to the water, provide a sensual experience for your nose as well as your body, with refreshing aromas to choose from such as Alpine Forest and Lavender Palmorosa. We also sell spa hot tub chemicals to help you keep the water clean and at the right pH level. We only stock the very best quality in this range as the chemicals need to work at much higher temperatures than those used in swimming pools.
Keeping it clean
In addition to chemicals that are added to the water we have various other products that will help you to keep your spa in excellent working order. To keep your cover clean we have a special formulation that was initially developed for the aerospace industry which we highly recommend, as no other product that we have tried comes close to matching it in terms of performance. Keeping your filter clean is also an essential part of routine maintenance and we offer a high quality powdered cleaner for this purpose. Hot tub pumps and filters are designed to high specifications but a little care and attention will prolong their working life considerably. We always recommend that our customers have a spare filter for their hot tub as it is best to allow your filter cartridge to dry out naturally after cleaning and so if you want to have a relaxing soak in the meantime an extra cartridge makes life much more simple. To remove visible debris that can collect in the water, we have a handy vacuum designed just for this purpose. To cut down on the debris that gets into the water in the first place you can buy a foot bath for your children to clean their feet before getting into the spa. Children love to run around outside, especially in the summer months and this simple precaution will help to prevent your filter becoming clogged up with grass and grit that they may pick up on their feet.
Spa hot tub covers
The most basic precaution that will help to keep water clean and also an essential safety feature if you have very young children or pets in the house is a cover for your hot tub. All good models come with their own cover but after a few years of use some of them may begin to sag in the middle and look the worse for wear. These are signs that they will soon need replacing and we are proud to offer extra thick top quality custom-made replacement covers for this purpose. We deliver all bespoke cover orders to your door, straight from our factory using our own vehicles, rather than a courier service. This avoids any hassles in the event of an outside delivery company damaging the cover en route. To keep your existing or new cover in tip top condition you can purchase a hot tub cover lifter. Most covers are difficult for two people to lift and when you attempt to do the job alone it can result in the cover being damaged. It also retains the cover in a safe place when you are using the tub, rather than just leaning it against a nearby wall where it can easily be knocked over. Apart from being better for your cover it makes life easier for you as well. It is a simple matter to remove and replace the cover and keeping it off the floor will avoid it becoming dirty and causing you extra work later on.
Filling and emptying your tub
Filling your tub up with water and draining it off when it needs replacing might sound like simple tasks, and they can be, but there are some tools that can help make the job a lot easier and avoid potential pitfalls. For those living in hard water areas for instance, there are a couple of precautions that you can take with your hot tubs & spas to help keep them in good working order. Instead of using the drainage valve in your tub, you should use a discharge hose to avoid a build up of deposits that will eventually clog the valve up. These are designed to be used with submersible pumps which we can also supply, that you place in the tub to pump the water out. Once the water has almost all gone you can use one of our wet and dry vacuum cleaners to get the last of the water out and remove any debris in the bottom of the tub. As well as being able to vacuum up excess water, these handy machines can be used as an ordinary vacuum cleaner as well – wonderful for tidying up after a messy house party! For filling the tub up we have a pre-filter that you can attach to your garden hose to prevent rust and other unwanted deposits from ending up in your spa. They will reduce the flow rate a certain amount but will help to keep the water clean and ease the workload for your filters.
Hot tub accessories and supplies
We aim to offer a full range of accessories to satisfy both existing and new customers’ needs, at the best prices possible. When it is time to replace a filter for example, it is nice to be able to order one from a company that you have already dealt with and can trust to supply you with a high quality product. Although we provide several handy tools to help you keep your cartridges clean, it is important to replace them at regular intervals – the exact timing will depend on various factors such as how often you use your tub and how many people have access to it. For all orders over £60 we offer free delivery of all our hot tub parts and accessories as a thank you for your continued custom. This applies to all standard equipment on our site but unfortunately is not possible for bespoke covers as they involve a member of our staff and a vehicle being occupied for the day, although we do all we can to keep costs to a minimum. We have done our best to make the ordering process for all products on our site as easy as possible for your convenience. Any item can be ordered via our website and paid for with a credit or debit card using our secure online payment facility. For customers who prefer not to order online our staff are happy to take orders for tubs, hot tub spa covers and any other equipment by telephone.
