The COVER Rx lifter is held in place by the weight of the hot tub resting on a single baseplate. This particular system affords tremendous flexibility - it's compatible with virtually any type of above-ground spa or hot tub on the market today, whether it's square, rectangular, octagonal or round it will fit without the need for drilling or fixings of any kind.
Requiring only 2 feet of clearance, it can be installed whichever side of your spa you choose.
One further advantage of the Rx is that, unlike many other systems, it completely supports the weight of the cover by means of 'cradling' it, and so does not place any stress on the cover's central hinge seam, thereby reducing wear and tear. The Cover Rx can be operated by a single user from any position; from the side of the spa, from the back, or even inside of the spa - there's never before been a more flexible cover lifter system!
